Nice easy place to stay

Stay overnight with my son as we passed through town was a very nice room and motel great country hospitality. Wasn’t the cheapest but worth the extra. We didn’t try the restaurant or food so can’t comment. Would stay again if I had to stay around same area. Clean room toilet shower. Comfortable bed with Tv and Foxtel if u want it. Free wireless internet also. Nice quiet area to stay.

Clean and comfy

When you are on the road for work it’s a pleasure to have a clean comfortable room, a decent night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast and this place offered it all.

Thank you for the overnight rest and recuperation.

A great stay at a fantastic motel!

We stayed one night in late July as a family of 4, this was our second stay at the Copper Country. The new owners are wonderful people and so very welcoming, we felt like we had been welcomed into their home.

The same as our last stay, the room was well appointed, very clean and everything worked as expected. The free WIFI was an added bonus and it worked very well.

The night of our stay we dined at the onsite restaurant… WOW! It was fantastic, we enjoyed every mouthful, and the service was excellent. Our two year old twins were also very well looked after and were kept amused in the very well set up kids area.

Thanks again to the new hosts, you are doing a great job and we will be back!

Five star food with reasonable cost…

We are locals who were out for a quiet dinner; we found so much more, a beautiful welcoming environment. Relaxed before dinner drinks, chatting and order our meals. Never a rush, entrees arrived and we were escorted to our table, most amazing succulent pork belly and garlic prawns both hot moist and delicious. Mains wow is all I can say, everything handmade and cooked to perfection. 400g steak is a 400g steak- bring a good appetite. Chicken Caesars salad, moist perfect crunchy. Dessert is to die for… death by chocolate is an understatement…. Thank you for such a wonderful meal, it made my late birthday dinner perfect.

I will get to come back and try the fried camembert entree.

Good Motel

Nicely located just off the highway. Very clean rooms, large TV, undercover parking, comfortable bed. Nice country outlook – it backs onto a small vineyard. Restaurant has a good menu and a great bar with a wide range of beers available.

Welcoming

Luckily everywhere else in the area was full and the group of us that were working nearby managed to find rooms at the Copper Country. Having to deal with a group of nine caused no problems and the rooms were well appointed and comfortable. There was a blazing log fire to ward of the winter cold in the dining room and the food was excellent and well-priced. We shall definitely be staying there again.

Tranquil

Lovely clean and neat tidy and new and not far from Nanango. Great staff and loved being on a winery! Good amenities (pool and restaurant); although our stay was too short to enjoy them. Seems to be child friendly too. Staff very warm and welcoming. Would recommend and stay again. Worth the money.

Agreeably Surprised!

It is seldom that the Motel’s description as given by its owners actually reflect the status of the motel; however, in this case, the description certainly fits this establishment beautifully. Situated just 3 kms from the town centre in a typical Oz bush setting and opposite the golf course, everything is as you would want it to be. The price is reasonable, the food servings more than adequate, the room spotless and with a wonderful shower, it is difficult to find any problem worth mentioning. This will always be my overnight spot in Nanango in the future!

Great Place to Stay in Nanango

Great Place to Stay, Room was well set up and thank to the owner we had a free upgrade. 3 Km for town, undercover Parking, very quiet and top of the list for Nanango Motels. If you want a nice quiet, well presented Motel with a Large Restaurant this is the place for you.

They really go the extra mile

The rooms were great and we slept well. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Fresh seafood and a nice breakfast delivered to the room. Peter and Trish looked after us so well (other than Peter thinking football was soccer and liking warm beer). Thanks guys, we’ll be back.

Amazing food and service

Outstanding service, amazing food, quiet location. Clean and tidy rooms had everything we needed. We had a ute with trailer and there was plenty of parking available. Owners were so helpful and lovely to talk to. Recommend to anyone. Restaurant was welcoming and all food was just perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer.

A bit out of town, lovely setting in a small vineyard

This Motel accepted myself and my dogs (on the back of the ute in their travel crates) happily.

Put me in a room at the back of the motel overlooking a great stretch of grass and the vineyard.

Morning sun poured in on the dogs and I – just beautiful on a chilly wintery morning. Lovely having early morning coffee in the sun!

Accommodation very pleasant and more than comfortable.

Friendliest Motel I can remember

Copper Country Motor Inn well and truly exceeded our expectations for a small-town country motel. The rooms were clean and had clearly been recently refurbished. Beds were comfortable and warm. However, this isn’t what impressed us so much. It was the warm and friendly staff.

Great country service

We had two nights in a deluxe room overlooking a small vineyard. The room was quiet and peaceful, very clean and well-maintained. We were arriving close to last booking time at the restaurant and, when we said we hadn’t eaten it was suggested we call ahead from Yarraman about 15-20 minutes away. We did so and ordered meals which were served up lovely and fresh and piping hot soon after we arrived. It was a great start to our stay and we enjoyed the meal so much we dined there again the next night. Top country hospitality. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in the area.

Country Comfort

We stayed one night in the Motor Inn in a Queen Standard room. The furnishings and bed were fine and the free Wi-Fi a bonus. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed the steak and service. This is a standard country motel offering accommodation and dining facilities at reasonable prices.

Would definatedefinitelyain

I loved this place. The room was clean the food was nice (but a little slow on the night I was there as a lot of room service orders had arrived just before me). It was great to be able to get a continental breakfast delivered to my room the night before, and the superior room that I had was behind the restaurant, so if there was any traffic noise I couldn’t hear it.

Overnight stay and meal

Booking arrangements were efficiently organized. Evening meal was so good, tasty, prepared as requested, service with friendly smiles made this stay reminiscent of the true ‘country’ hospitality typical of iconic rural Australia. The rooms were very clean, well-furnished, and very comfortable. The most enduring feature is the welcoming atmosphere provided by the present owners and family. We shall recommend this motel. The motel has kept the prices at ‘good value’ for money. This reflects good business acumen, client consideration which will attract customer loyalty.

The only place to stay in Nanango!!!

Copper Country Motor Inn Peter and Trish, Thank you, for your superb hospitality this weekend. The food and service was exceptional and our accommodation was lovely. I can highly recommend The Copper Country Motor Inn.

The perfect place to unwind

Fantastic! After having travelled 2000 kms (half way on our motorcycling holiday) Copper Country had been booked for 2 nights to give us a rest day! Peter & Trish are helpful and friendly. We dined in the restaurant on our first evening there, loved it so much decided that we do it all again on the second night! Our room was clean, spacious, very comfortable, even had a retractable clothes line over the bath. Bath is not large but of sufficient size to have a good soak! The shower is located over the bath. This didn’t bother us, but if it could be a problem, please discuss with Peter & Trish. We’ll definitely be staying here when visiting the region again.

Lovely place to stay & dine at Nanango

I booked a room for a family of four and found the room to be very clean and comfortable. The sofa bed provided for my two young boys was ready and made up when we arrived and the stay was quiet allowing for a restful night. The kids had a dip in the nice pool (pool toys were provided too) and enjoyed hunting for gnomes which are located all over. We also dined at the lovely restaurant in the grounds and enjoyed a delicious meal in very homely, welcoming surrounds. There is a nice bar area also in the restaurant in a separate area which is also very nice. Make sure to take a stroll through the vineyard and find the tables at the other end to sit with a nice cup of tea.

Special Needs accommodation

Wow! What a gem of a place to stay in Queensland’s South Burnett region! Hosts were great, food was excellent. As a T12 paraplegic, I found the restricted mobility room quite good, it suits a manual wheelchair quite adequately! Bathroom was good with plenty of space.

Overnight stay in a vineyard

We had booked a standard room for our one night stay but were upgraded with the result we had views of their vineyard. The unit was comfortable and clean and very quiet and we slept well. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly advising us on a potential road works problem and when we left we were given a calendar!.

This was a very good stop on our journey. Would stay again.

NEW OPERATORS NEW LIFE

Situated on the Nanago to Kingaroy road, this motel is a little treasure. While it has its own vineyard, and sells wine made from the shiraz grapes, this is not what makes the place. The rooms are neat and tidy with sufficient space, the facilities are clean and the restaurant quietly restful. Traffic noise is not an isTrish. I understand that there are now new operators again. Will visit again soon to see if some of the little things have been attended to.

Friendly country motel and service you can’t go past!

We had a marvellous stay. Such a relaxing place to spend the weekend. Whether we were practising our swimming techniques in the pool, strolling through the vineyard or helping the kids hunt for those funny little gnomes, we were always enjoying ourselves.

An extra special mention of the Copper Country Restaurant. The food was amazing and the service and friendly faces even better.

We loved it and can’t wait to visit again soon!

Doesn’t pretend to be what it isn’t

Stayed overnight at Copper Country Motor Inn, in Nanango. I must say that I was quite surprised and rather impressed. Copper Country Motor Inn is a very neat and tidy motel. The proprietor was very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was clean and very large by normal motel standards.

Copper Country Motor Inn is set on five acres with vineyards attached. Plenty of space to breath in the fresh country air.

There is a large restaurant, with separate bar attached to the motel. On the night that we dined the restaurant was quite, so the service was attenuative but not overbearing or pushy. Portion sizes were large, with quite a diverse menu. Ingredients were fresh.
